The day that she walked out
I stood silently
as she struggled with a bulging suitcase
containing her life & her memories,
wedding presents that had been bought
for both of us.
The CD’s & DVD’s
leaving behind a heap of laddered tights
& half photographs – cut off in my prime.
Forgetting to take the expensive bottle of wine
that we were saving for a special occasion.
I couldn’t celebrate,
she’d taken the corkscrew!
How sad.

A very different style. I love it. You’ve taken to this like a duck to water, Mr Underfelt.

I need to get to grips with things like layout and adding pictures. I’d like a rolling menu like the one on the right of your blog… I need to watch a few tutorials!
